How to Set Do Not Disturb Auto-Reply Message on iPhone

Do Not Disturb is a feature on iPhone devices that allowed you to send automated messages to respond to people texting you when you are in a meeting or driving. You can turn on Do Not Disturb instead of just silencing your iPhone.

That way, they know you are busy, and you will reply when you are free. It also helps them understand why you are not answering. Here is how to configure that message and decide who gets to see it.

By default, Apple sends a message that you are busy. In case you have Do Not Disturb enabled on your phone. You will be able to change this message and draft your letter. You may also decide who receives this message.

How to activate Do Not Disturb option

  • Go to Settings on your iPhone
  • Tap on Do Not Disturb
  • Type to turn it on

  • Go to Settings on your iPhone

If you select favorites”, then if any contact from your favorites list they still can get thru, do not disturb they always can call you, they can even text you.

If you choose ”no one”, that means no one can disturb you when you turn on do not disturb.

This feature is also useful when you are getting a lot of spam. Some people might try to spam you by sending you a lot of text messages, so one way to do this is to turn on do not disturb and then allow ”All contacts”.
